I wish to apply for a permit, for the parking of a vehicle on the Carnival procession route, for the evening of the W-S-M November Carnival Procession 2026. I accept that if because of severe weather conditions the route is changed there is no guarantee that we will be on the procession route. Our vehicle(s) will carry suitable matting to absorb any oil leaks. We the undersigned hereby agree to be responsible for ensuring compliance, by our driver, with the instructions of Marshals, Council Attendants, Police, and with compliance of the by-laws of North Somerset District Council.

VIP Coach or Minibus to park alongside the Seafront Route - £180 per coach/minibus
Non-VIP Coach 18 seats and above to drop-off and park on Marine Parade with short walk to procession route - £80 per coach pay-on-the-day
Non-VIP Coach 18 seats and above to drop-off and park on Marine Parade with short walk to procession route - or £70 if paid by 23.59 on 10th Nov
Non-VIP Mini-bus (17 seats or less) to drop-off and park on Marine Parade - £25 per mini-bus

Please note:

1. Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of the booking fee. Your Parking Permit will be sent out late October.

2. Upon arrival in Weston-super-Mare your coach must check-in with the registration team at Royal Sands. This will be the only access to your parking position (VIP and Drop-off). Directions will be sent with your Permit.

3. Weston Carnival Committee will not be responsible for any loss or damage, howsoever caused, to any person or property.

High tides or adverse weather may lead to North Somerset Council deploying flood defences.

This will result in the carnival procession using an alternative route and permit only parking being moved to a different location. Coach drivers are advised to follow the directional signage and parking staff will advise of any changes on the day.

OFFICIAL COLLECTORS

Each and every collector will wear an OFFICIAL YELLOW SASH. Each collecting tin or bucket will carry an OFFICIAL NUMBER on the tin or bucket. Official Collecting carts will also appear in the procession. Please give your donations to OFFICIAL COLLECTORS ONLY.

Our collection total from the last carnival was £23,964.00

Official Carnival programmes will be on sale for £2 each at various locations including Tesco town centre store and McColls newsagents.
